French by education, Cuban and English by blood and American by birth, Saskia obtained her Master’s Degree in Fine Art at London’s Central Saint Martins College. Moving back to California, she started her media career in the art department – covering virtually all the jobs from PA to production designer – for the likes of Madonna, Marilyn Manson and Master P. Currently, she is deep in launch mode on her newest initiative: The Institute for Art and Olfaction. The IAO is a non-profit designed to instigate greater engagement with the art and science of perfumery. It launches in March 2013 in downtown Los Angeles. Her film work has shown at TED Conference in Long Beach in 2010, and at dOCUMENTA (13) in Germany in 2012, and her artwork has been shown at institutions such as Dom Omladine in Belgrade and the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires. Current creative projects include creating a series of short video Stories, an upcoming feature-length documentary, and an art collaborative she started with her husband Micah called Mr. and Mrs. Hahn.
